Georgi Tahov accepted the position of caretaker Minister of Agriculture and Food from Kiril Vatev. Upon taking office, he stated that he would rely on teamwork. "So far, as the Executive Director of the State Fund Agriculture, we have achieved considerable success in our joint activity with the Ministry's team, but there is still much to be done for the benefit of the sector. I hope that in a few months we will have visible results that will be aimed entirely in favor of farmers," he added.
For his part, Kiril Vatev expressed his gratitude to the employees of the institution and added that he expects continuity in the process. Kiril Vatev gave as a present to Minister Tahov a pen and wished him to use it when signs the most right decisions.
Earlier today, Georgi Tahov took the oath of office before the National Assembly as caretaker Minister of Agriculture and Food.
